Sam and Vienna could have gotten away but something had to go wrong. Since there was a Nuclear Bomb that exploded they had to wear hazmat suits. But something hit Vienna's shield and she was exposed to the radioactive layers. Before the explosion they were in a mall where Gordon and Agent Tyler were looking for them because they were criminals. They then kidnapped Gordon and then went to find a car to use to escape in.  They left the mall and then began there search for a vehicle to escape in. They thought they could escape on foot while authority was right behind them then suddenly a black vanpulled in front of them and told them to get in. So they got in and then they dropped them of somewhere to get a car. They found a vehicle and put Gordon in the back. They dropped Gordon off on the side of the road and then went to Las Vegas.
