Dick Clark's 'Flintstone' House for Sale.
This Yabba -Dabba Crazy house is estimated for$3,500,000. Interested?
If you've ever dreamed of living in a Flintstones-style house and have $3,500,000 to burn, you might want to check out Dick Clark's Malibu digs -- they just hit the market. Fred and Barney ain't got nothing on Mr. Rocking New Year's Eve. Who knew that Dick Clark lived in a house reminiscent of the caveman era?
Clark's Malibu abode is probably as one-of-a-kind as they come.
The Flintstone-eque home sits atop a remote bluff in Malibu -- a stoney crib that has 360 degree ocean and mountain views of the Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Boney Mountains and Serrano Valley, as well as the city of Los Angeles.Clark's home sits on 22.89 acres, but here's the interesting part -- it only has one bedroom and two bathrooms!
The architectural design also includes massive amounts of glass to best showcase the impressive views seen from every room.
Vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room open up the space and there's also a fireplace in the bedroomThe listing agent brags: "Malibu celebrity romantic retreat.... This is art as architecture at it's finest. This truly magical retreat offers seclusion, privacy & serenity yet minutes from the beach."
The views are impressive, and the interior really looks like a cave -- a high-end cave. You can bet Fred Flintstone never had it so good. And, come to think of it, Ryan Seacrest does look a little like Barney Rubble ...

SOUTHERN FRIED
Deep-frying has a long history and fried chicken was well known throughout Europe before it even reached the United States. People have been frying many different foods, such as meat, fish, bread, and vegetables, for a long time because frying is fuel-efficient. Fritters were the first foods ever to be fried and these were enjoyed in medieval times.
Fricassee was also popular and this is a dish, which is simmered in butter rather than fried. Chicken Maryland is reminiscent of fricassee and a good example of how recipes vary through culture and time. Chicken Maryland was served in restaurants as early as 1878.

Kim Kardashian finally admitted what everybody already knew: that she is a “hairy Armenian”. The declaration was made so the reality TV star would gain more authority in a recent beauty product lawsuit. Radiant sued Kim last November because she falsely claimed that TRIA, a home laser hair-removal system from a different company, was better.
I honestly never thought someone would pay attention to everything Kim Kardashian and co say in their reality TV shows. Clearly, I was wrong for the Armenian star was called to court after claiming that the company she represents, TRIA, produces the best hair removal laser tool. The rival company, Radiant, filed lawsuit against the hairy brunette on accounts of false advertising.
Radiant spokespersons declared that Kim encouraged people to use TRIA’s product because it is the only laser tool on the market to completely remove hair from all over the body. As opposed to Kim’s claims, product specifications clearly show that the hair removal tool is not good for the face, head, ears, neck, nipples, genitals or anus.
That is not all; Kim also said that people who use TRIA don’t need razors or shaving cream to remove hair. Radiant, on the other hand, disagrees because TRIA’s instructions note the fact that the product has to be used in concert with shaving. Given Kim’s false declarations, Radiant asks the Kardashian sister to put an end to this false advertising and compensate them for unspecified damages.
During her most recent appearance in court, Kim reassured judges that everything she said about TRIA’s product was absolutely true. In fact, her product review was based entirely on her personal experience. She then, added “Being Armenian and hairy, I thought [TRIA] was the perfect product”.

Furniture and instrument builder Charles Lushear (Venice, CA) built a beautiful and fully functionalNES Controller Coffee Table out of wood. He used the natural hues of mahogany, maple, and walnut wood in place of the original black, gray and red motif. Does someone have too much time on their hands? You be the judge. ;-)

“City officials are still leaning toward this being a natural phenomenon.
“It could be based on the weather, being so warm, being warm early, whether we’ve had less rain, whether there’s things within our ground water, our bedrock below the surface, things like that that could be adjusting that would create these sort of noises,” City Administrator Lisa Kuss said.”
The latest news: “There are reports of more booming sounds 80 miles away. Police in Montello are now investigating similar sounds.”
NBC 15 News Video Report, March 21, 2012:
“It’s the talk of the town in Montello today, a loud rumble last night that was apparently loud enough to shake walls and rattle windows. Last night the police department received several reports of loud noise and a loud rumble around 5:30. Police say they are investigating.”
WHY IS WISCONSIN SHAKING?
The “Big Story” in Wisconsin: mystery booms appeared in a second town Tuesday night. The still unexplained phenomena heard by residents in Montello, Wisconsin, 80 miles southwest of Clintonville, the location of mystery booms or ‘blasts’ and shaking that have frightened residentsthree nights in row beginning Sunday night. Ruled out as the cause of the mystery booms and ground shaking in Clintonville: mining, the military, earthquakes, sewer gas, and anything caused by humans. The current theory: the granite bedrock beneath the town is the culprit. Other theories in the comment sections of news reports: The mystery booms are caused by ‘HAARP’, a ‘sinkhole’ beneath Clintonville, or, ‘giant earthworms’.
