Biba is the best because BIBA has the best teachers, yummy healthy food, big beautiful playground and extremely tall buildings.
Great Teachers
BIBA has the best teachers because they can teach you many things. Another reason why the teacher is the best is because the teacher can teach you how to write a book.
Best Playground
BIBA has the best playground because the playground is very clean. Another reason the playground is the best is it has soft green grass.
Food
BIBA has yummy healthy food like mixing juices, pair, apple, sandwich, potato, tomato, chicken, duck, fish, egg, and green vegetable.
Building
BIBA has large tall buildings because tall building have many classrooms. There is lots of space to learn and play.
Keep BIBA CLEAN!
1. In BIBA please don't drink plastic bottle because they can make our school dirty.
2. Finish your food so to keep the school clean.
3. Recycle your things so there is not too much garbage in the school.
4. Make sure you put your garbage in the trash can.
5. Keep your lockers clean. Do not keep old food in your locker or BIBA will get flies and mice.

Family Fair
On family fair most of the
students of BIBA went
to family fair. It was

there is a lot of games to
play like roll the boat and
water slide and yummy food
and drinks too.
Halloween
In Halloween we wear
costumes and take pictures
we wear masks too. We can
take pictures with our mom
or dad or your friends too.
Sports Day
In sports day we played lots of fun games like throw the arrow, rock/paper/scissors shoot and running race. You need to follow your line and your house teachers.
Christmas
In Christmas you need to decorate our class and you need to wear green and red shirts because you need to take pictures.
Science Fair
In science fair it is time
for people to look at our
science projects. Our parents
can look at our science projects
because we made it.
Winter Concert
In winter concert we we sang
many songs like "Rocking
Around the Christmas Tree"
and Sing a Happy Song.
Chinese New Year
On Chinese New Year we can
go to see many classes to see
Chinese projects. In each class
there are different games.
International Day
On International Day our class
wears our flag color. We learned
about Oman. We went to other
classes and learned about other
countries and ate yummy food.

Summer Holiday Tips!
The school year is almost finished and we have to say goodbye to our classmates but...it's summer!!! Do you know what to do on the summer? We'll tell you what to do on the summer vacation. You could go on a picnic, go camping, go swimming or go on an adventure! We hope that you will have a great summer holiday!!!

capture THE FLAG

Everyone should play catch the flag because it is an amazingly fun game!
Students in 1S like capture the flag the most!
Materials: more than 10 people, bibs and 8 cones.
First, you need your friends to make two teams. After that, you need to bring 3 shirts to a side and you need to bring the other shirt to the other side. The people need to go on two sides. The people need to be equal. You need to use 8 cones to make 2 squares. One square needs to be in this side. The other square needs to be in the other side.
Now you can start the game! When the game start your team need to get the 3 bibs from the other side but be careful the other team can tag you! If you have been tag, you need go to the square and wait for your friend to save you.
TIP: You can tag people too! But you can only tag people on your side.
Now be sure to ask your friends to play
capture the flag!!

ALL ABOUT BIBA
BIBA has classes in grade 1-11! It's a lot of sdudents! BIBA has 4Rs: rigor, responsibility, relationship and respect. Rigor means extremely hard work! Responsibility means to do the thing right! Relationship means to be friendly! Respect means to listen to others.
Classes
BIBA has many classes. There are P.E, art, music, computer, writing, reading, Chinese, word study, science, library and ASA.
Cafeteria
Every day ayis will prepare you delicious food. Ayi can give you spaghetti, apples, meat and vegetables. In BIBA you can't throw healthy, good, delicious vegetables and meat into the trash can because you are wasting money!
Playground
Do you know BIBA has eight playgrounds, gyms and fields? That is a lot! In the playground there is slide, football goal, basket ball goal, swing, jump rope, hop scotch, soccer field!
Field Trips
BIBA has field trips, field trip is sometime all grade 1 will go out side and learn different things! This year we went to garden and EE City. We went to garden to learn about flowers, grass and trees! We went to EE city for "how to books"!
House!
BIBA has houses. House means 5 color! We have house points! When the house win they will have a party! There is red, yellow, green, orange and blue house!

In BIBA we have House colors. Houses are groups with colors. Students who show the 4Rs get points. The 4Rs are:
Responsibility, Respect, Relationships and Rigor.

The Reading Strategies of 1S
In OUr class there were many srategies because to help the students to read hard book.

Stretchy snake is stretch out the word. For example,
di-ffe-rent.

The next strategy is eagle eyes. If there is a hard word look at the picture and read the
word again.
Chunky monkey is look for the chunks to read harder words. For example, back-pack!
The last strategy is skippy the frog.
You skip the word and latter try again.

Other helpful reading tips: Try the sounds many ways to help you read hard word. For exemple, book and food. Think about what word would fit in and what is happening in the story.

The Best Book Is...
In 1s we read many books like Henry and Mudge, The Pigeon, No David!, Alexander and Frog & Toad. We asked everyone in 1S and more people like "The Pigeon"! It is a book series and the character is a...PIGEON! The words and pictures are by Mo Willems."Oh! It's so crazy. The pigeon loves hot dogs! He already yawned but he said he's energetic. Patrick Y. thinks it is so funny! Jerry said, "some times the word changes in red or sometimes it's black. It changes color." Cici thinks every time pigeon is so silly and it yells at everyone. Ian said, "it has good reasons to get the things he wants."

OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

"Wake up!" said my mom. We need to go to BIBA. I am nervous. What if the teacher is not nice? But the teacher is extremely good. So I close my eye and went into the car. I went into the school when I see the teacher it is extremely FANTASTIC!! But I don't know the teacher name so I asked her name. "Ms. S. you are best" "You Too!" said Ms. S. After that we go home and said to my mom the first day of schools is great!
We asked 1S how they felt on the first day of school:

Field Trips

Did you know that 1S went to two awesome field trips? They are...the Garden and EE city! It's awesome. Do you want to know why?
EE City!
EE City is a place that you learn about many type of things. We went there because we were writing How-To books. EE City is the best "because "you can learn new jobs," said Julia. Jenny liked it because you can play many games." Yiyi thinks "in EE City you can make things."
Botanical Gardens!
We went to the botanical gardens because we were learning about plants in science class. At the garden we saw many things like: desert plants, rain forest plants, fruits and beautiful flowers. It has many different habitats and plants. We asked the class why they liked the garden. Michelle said, : "It has many flowers and it smells yummy." Cici said she likes it "because it almost look like you are in REAL nature."
