OPEN MIC FAMOUS
Several years ago, LSU Eunice had the promising idea to host an open mic night in our small college town. The main purpose was to keep art, music, literature, and creativity alive and well in our close-knit community. The incentive to get the students to attend? Extra points!
LSUE's open mic series had a good run, but the monthly event proved to be too tedious for the professors who hosted it, and I was asked to host a couple of the events in a row.
